This is a good, straightforward overview of the Ebola virus. The origin, symptoms and treatment are outlined, because as is stated in the book, education is essential to prevent both the spread of the disease and the fear of it. Best and worst case scenarios are presented, but the outlook is mostly hopeful based on the worldwide awareness of the crisis and the rigorous training of healthcare professionals going to West Africa to help out. For those who may be concerned about contracting Ebola, there are also measures listed to minimize that risk.
