About the Author
Richard McCrohan is a retired optician, fourth-degree karate black belt, artist, video gamer, and now, at age sixty-three, a first-time author. An avid zombie fan ever since the opening scenes of Night of the Living Dead splashed across a Jersey Shore theater screen in 1969, he has collected hundreds of zombie novels over the years and is pleased to share his own zombie apocalypse story in Pandora.
McCrohan lives in Boynton Beach, Florida, with his wife, Linda, and their two small dogs.

Pandora: A Great Read!

This is a great, quick read that leaves you looking for more.
Pandora delivers a couple of things that many offerings in this genre do not. First, it gives a plausible backstory to scientifically ground the subject matter. Second, and most uniquely, it surveys the responses of various nations to the worldwide epidemic. Their contrasting actions (and results) in the face of disaster take into account their respective cultures, religions, and histories.
Of course, this story's also got a good dose of what you want in any zombie book: a head-bashing, bloody good time. Ultimately, though, the tale stands apart from more gratuitous slasher stories. In a real-world age of terrorism, upheaval, and epidemic (i.e., ebola), Pandora strikes an unnerving chord.

I loved the book

I loved the book!!! There was so much suspense in each chapter and I could not put it down. I'm not a big reader, but I love zombies and this book is perfect for any zombie fan. The novel seemed so real and the character's were a lot of fun. Lots of gore and action which is what every zombie fan wants. The author did a great job balancing out the zombies so it wasn't over the top. I hope there's a sequel!!!!

A hidden gem among the zombie genre!!!

Thank you Amazon for recommending this book! I loved it! I like zombie books with ordinary/regular characters who are thrown into a catastrophic situation (Zombie Apocalypse). How the zombie apocalypse started was very believable. Onto book 2!!!
