About the Author
Mark Morris has written tie-in novels for Hellboy, Spartacus, Doctor Who and Torchwood, and novelizations for Vampire Circus and the game Dead Island. Alex is totally out of his depth but reasons who best to deal with these thugs than the bigger thug ...

I stayed up late to read this. Action just hurtles you along until you need to know what the next move is in this horror-full tale. After being jailed for an armed robbery he totally did commit, Alex is handed a card from a master criminal, who tells Alex to call should he ever need help. Alex uses his time in prison to study, becoming a lecturer after his release. We meet his elder daughter, who is desperate to get her boyfriend out of trouble with some drug dealers. Alex is totally out of his depth but reasons who best to deal with these thugs than the bigger thug he met in prison. So he makes the call, then immediately regrets it, wondering what has he set in motion.
The first several chapters are straight suspense, it's only after you are invested in Alex trying to help his daughter that the genre shifts and the horrors appear and the bodies start to pile up. Can't wait to read the next one!

I have Mark Gatiss and twitter to thank for this. The characters are rich and you are quickly hooked. The action starts and pulls you right in where it's impossible to stop reading. Every scene comes alive and you feel as if you are present. Looking forward to the next book. Wish I had it now.

Can't wait for more

I got this on a friend's recommendation. He suggested it would be right up my alley, guess he knows my alley. The Wolves of London had everything I like in a book. Great characters, strong plot, a little something of the supernatural and some plain old horrible nightmares, all wrapped up with a bow. My only complaint is that I was left at the end with a stunning cliffhanger.
