Hell To The Nooooo!!!!!

I am so mad,annoyed, and disgusted right now! I want to start by saying I loved Dominic LOVED it!! I just got back from visiting Ireland last year and I loved the people and the beautiful country.So when I come back and I came across this Irish author who writes in a way I love I was super excited. I loved the alpha brothers, I loved everyone's smart mouths and cursing, I loved all the fighting! It reminded me so much of my friends and I immediately started passing the word on how great Dominic was and how much I love L.A. Casey's writing style. I posted a raving review on amazon, I discussed it on fb, goodreads, and with my book club. I got so many people to read it because I love it so much.
With that said I obviously was dying for Alec to come out. I have read a lot of reviews and talked to a lot of people about the brother's and I find everyone gushing about all the brother's except a lot of them say they aren't into Alec cause he is..........................SPOILERS SPOILERS>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.SPOLIERS>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
bi-sexual and an ex escort. I however was never bothered by this. I'm a firm believer that someones past is their past and if you know about it and decide to move forward with that person anyways you can't later throw it in their face. I can get past a lot from my hero's
and I mean a lot I love me some dark read's one of my fav's is Raw enough said. But I absolutely can not get past cheating never no way no how. That is actually a subject matter that a TON of people will decide not to read a book if that is in it. The whole excuse for the cheating was crap! First of all if the uncle threatened his family with death if he didn't make Keela hate him why not leave her in the Bahama's why not never speak to her again? And to have sex with her aunt and some dude who was his former lover knowing she is in the closet watching???? Disgusting no redemption DONE for me! And if he really tried to make her hate him cause her uncle would never let her be with a whore then why try to explain and make it up to her? Why try to get back with her when the deed is done? All of sudden your brother's safety doesn't matter cause you can't live without her? And bringing back Marco? Lame and lazy in my opinion. You could have thrown in some danger from another angle to add intrigue.

I'm giving it 2 star's cause I still love the witty banter, the dog, and the supporting players. I am so sad! I was so looking forward to this book after Dominic. I was working out on the treadmill right now reading this and I had to fricking get off cause it upset me so much so I could write this review and warn others. I'm not giving up on L.A. as an author cause I really enjoyed Dominic but I will be giving her a rest for awhile!!

I was extremely disappointed. I understand the drama to some point what I don't understand is why Alec had to cheat the way he did and right after try to explain to Keela when he was threatened. It left an extremely sour taste and disappointment with the author. I would have understood if Keela was curious to know what it would have been like to be shared but not cheated on. The way the author explains how Keela felt when she witnesed Alec cheating is what was left on my mind foe the rest of the book. Sorry! I love her other books but I think it could have been different.

So disappointed! Could not get over how Alec cheated on Keela with her Aunt and old lover (and new she was watching from the closet!!!) That scene broke my heart. The reason why he did it was lame. The lives of his brothers being threatened and being forced to have a three some.really???? I am confused at how the brothers are described as bad ass men that were in the mafia, but at the slightest threat Alec gives in and turns into a punk! Keela's character turns week with her uncle and she forgives Alec too easily, especially after what happened with Micah. Very disappointed in the whole book. I loved Dominic and looked forward to this series..hope the author reads the reviews and redeems the next one.

About the Author

Dr Robert J. (Bob) Wright holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in mathematics from the University of Queensland (Australia) and a doctoral degree in mathematics education from the University of Georgia. He is an adjunct professor in mathematics education at Southern Cross University in New South Wales. Bob is an internationally recognized leader in assessment and instruction relating to children’s early arithmetical knowledge and strategies, publishing four books, and many articles and papers in this field. His work over the last 20 years has included the development of the Mathematics Recovery Program which focuses on providing specialist training for teachers to advance the numeracy levels of young children assessed as low-attainers. In Australia and New Zealand, Ireland, the UK, the USA, Canada, Mexico and elsewhere, this program has been implemented widely and applied extensively to classroom teaching and to average and able learners as well as low-attainers. He has conducted several research projects funded by the Australian Research Council including the most recent project focusing on assessment and intervention in the early arithmetical learning of low-attaining 8–10-year-olds.

Garry Stanger has had a wide-ranging involvement in primary, secondary and tertiary education in Australia. He has held positions of Head Teacher, Deputy Principal and Principal, and has been a Mathematics Consultant with the New South Wales Department of Education. He has also taught in schools in the USA. He has worked with Robert Wright on the Mathematics Recovery project since its inception in 1992 and has been involved in the development of the Count Me In Too early numeracy project. His last project before finally retiring was working with Jenny Bednall, Head of Junior School, Trinity South and the thirty teachers at the Trinity College schools in South Australia.

Ann Stafford’s academic background includes graduate study at Southern Cross University, Australia, the University of Chicago, and Clemson University. She received a Master’s degree from Duke University and an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her professional experience includes teaching and administrative roles in K-5 classrooms and supervision in the areas of mathematics, gifted, early childhood, and remedial as well as teaching and research positions at Clemson University. She has led in the writing and development of Early Childhood and Mathematics Curricula for the School District of Oconee County, South Carolina. Ann has received numerous professional awards and grants for outstanding contributions to the region and state for mathematics and leadership. She was the leader in the implementation and classroom applications of Mathematics Recovery in the USA and currently is an academic consultant.

Jim Martland is a member of the International Board of Mathematics Recovery and Founder of the Mathematics Recovery Council (UK and Ireland). He was a Senior Fellow in the Department of Education at the University of Liverpool. In his long career in education he has held headships in primary and middle schools and was Director of Primary Initial Teacher Training. In all the posts he continued to teach and pursue research in primary mathematics. His current work is with local education authorities in the UK and Canada, delivering professional development courses on assessing children’s difficulties in numeracy and designing and evaluating teaching interventions.

Diagnosing Student Strengths and Difficulties with Number Sense

Teaching Number in the Classroom with 4-8 Year Olds contains highly detailed performance tasks that teachers can use to determine young children's strengths and weaknesses in number sense. It is a bit difficult to read this book cover-to-cover because the print size is small, and the language is quite technical. It is, however, worth the time spent reading it, as one would probably be hard pressed to find a source with more high-quality mathematics performance tasks than this book. The research and tasks come from the Math Recovery project, but teachers could make use of these tasks without having had Math Recovery training. I would recommend this book to early childhood teachers who are looking for ways to determine next teaching steps in number sense with their students.

Prof. Bob Wright continues to lead the way in this emerging 'New Times' field of early numeracy education. This book is truly inspirational and should be included in every university and teachers' training courses on primary mathematics education.

A Biker and his Nanny

Jaylah was freaking awesome. Her attitude and sassyiness was off the charts. I found myself laughing at her and Miakoda banter than anything. She gave it to him and never backed down. Pushed him not only to his limit but helped him pass it and overcome the feelings of being let down.

I admired her love for Deisel and the fact that she wanted what was best for him always. Heck Jay heart was so big she put everyone's well being before her own. What she did for Ash had tears coming out my eyes. Dang that was heroic and badass.

This book is so unlike the first two, in fact it is better. The heroine, Jaylah, displays empathy, sympathy, and love in not only words but her action. Mack overcomes an inner struggle that is so real that it breaks your heart. This is a great biker book.

MY MIND IS BLOWN! OUTSTANDING READ THAT WILL MAKE YOU BOTH LAUGH & CRY

Bella Jewel in my opinion is one of the greatest authors ever. I am not going to try to be impartial because, well, I am fangirl crazy over her. I was given an ARC of this book as a member of her street team. This is my honest review.

I cannot stress how each time I finish one of Bella Jewel’s books, that I say to myself, that was the best, she cannot get any better than that. Each book simply proves me wrong however.

I first fell in love with Bella Jewel’s writing with her Sinner’s MC series. I have read all her works at this point, and when I read her last book Melancholy, I had the same feeling I had now, it is not possible to surpass this.

Anguish is by far her best work to date. This book took me on an emotional roller-coaster. The lead female character Jaylah is not only one of the funniest female leads I have ever read, but she also is able to make your heartbreak for her through her trials in this book.

Mack the lead male is all that a glorious alpha biker can be, plus he is flawed, weak, and allows Jaylah to help him grown.

YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK, AND THE ENTIRE SERIES IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY!!!

Jaylah & Mack

I absolutely loved this MC series! This book in particular is incredibly funny & lighthearted. Towards the end everything falls apart, and then comes together, and we have some tears with our laughter. Jaylah got into a situation with a drug dealer in an attempt to bail out her cheating ex, & now she is desperate for money & takes a job as a nanny, a job she is absolutely not qualified for. Since Mack wants nothing to do with his baby & his grumpiness is at an all-time high, Jaylah is his best option. Jaylah is absolutely hilarious - curvy & beautiful, big breasts, thick long hair & plenty of sass. Mack even admits, God help him but he wants to screw his nanny! :) Maddow & Krypt are usually just as grumpy & serious but join in the fun in this book, love catching Jaylah in various stages of wearing little clothing around the house. Jaylah asks what a person brings to a biker cookout & Krypt answers "dead bodies", Maddox says "guns", and Mack says "a$$". LOL Jaylah wants Mack but they both know that Mack isn't relationship material at the moment & Jaylah thinks a fling would be ok...at first. Baby Diesel is a result of Mack sleeping with his brother's wife so that explains all the hard feelings & why Mack can't stomach holding his own child. But the worst is when Jaylah & Mack get hot & heavy & it isn't Jay's name he moans. I felt Jaylah's pain, that was harsh! I didn't know how much Jaylah could take, hearing about Mack's one great love, thinking she'll never compare, and now she totally adores the little baby. I can't wait to read Til Death, the book about Marcus, the hot businessman who saves Jaylah from danger. Even Ash & Santana were drooling over Marcus, but he's unhappily married? That is going to be a great story & hopefully we'll revisit all of our hot alpha male biker men again!!

Knowing is preventing an epidemic!

This ebook is really well made. I learned so much about the ebola crisis, the disease itself, the epidemic, and survival.
I had no idea that some of the first cases were recorded in the 70's, and that some of the first symptoms of the disease
are flu-like symptoms. I travel a lot, in many different continents and I must say, this book is helping me to not be paranoid.
I love it and recommend for the world travelers. It looks like the disease is not as volatile as I thought, and you actually have body contact and exchange fluids to contract the virus.

Glad I found this. This is such a great deal for the price.
From chapter to chapter I found all the answers to my questions. I'm about to go on a cruise and I'm not looking
to get sick and die from ebola. The ebola crisis is being covered by the media, but only as a political view, and not so much on what to do to prevent an epidemic. This disease freaks me out and I'm glad to read that it is possible to prevent a world epidemic by simply applying common sense rules. Wash hands, avoid touching people that have been traveling to foreign countries.
The design of the book is extremely simple and clear, and I read it super fast.

American intelligence had advance knowledge of planned Al Qaeda terrorist attacks, including the Madrid Train bombing on 3/11/2004, and did nothing to stop them.

How do I know this?

Because I was a fellow prisoner and close friend of several high-ranking Al Qaeda operatives inside the high-security wing of Valdemoro Prison in Spain. This prison has a nickname.

They call it, “Terrorist University.”

I was asked, and agreed, to participate in an intelligence gathering operation that produced this and other information. My nom de guerre from the French Foreign Legion was Jayden Roy Huck, and this is my story.

WHAT you will read in the following pages may bother you.

It is meant to tell the true account of a poorly run undercover operation that took place between October 2002 and June of 2003. I have kept the true names of the different individuals. However, when dealing with certain individuals who are still at-large, I chose to use only first names.

This is neither an indictment nor an accusation about U.S. governmental and foreign policies when dealing with international terrorism, yet it is critical when appropriate. As the writer, I do not claim to be able to create a literary work that will be appreciated for its eloquent prose. Hey, I carried a pistol before I ever picked up a pen.

You might be offended by what you read. Fair enough. It is a true story, and life is often times an offensive string of circumstances.

Every conversation is as accurate as my memory will allow.

About the Author

He now trains and fights in Mixed-Martial Arts. As an expert in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, and other combative tactics, he trains both professional fighters, security teams, and law enforcement in the art of armed and unarmed combat/unconventional warfare. Whenever he isn’t throwing punches, he’s probably working on his next novel.

Better Than Fiction

I just finished watching the entire "24" television series so I found this book to be extremely interesting. When you look at shows like this you often wonder how real some of the scenarios are. Terrorist University gives you a look into some of the things that go on behind the scenes of the intelligence community. The author's honestly draws you in and even though you know he has done some bad things, you develop a connection with him. Great book.

Engaging, dramatic storytelling

Taken as a heart-pulsing story, in the vein of Homeland or 24, this ebook works well, and you gotta love the author's hardscrabble passion and fire. Kinda reminds me of a war piece you might read in Esquire Magazine, actually, with a hint of "Million Little Pieces" style stream-of-consciousness writing thrown in for good measure.

It's also an evocative premise. Who hasn't imagined how they'd interact with actual "terrorists"? What would you say, do, feel? Who hasn't wondered what it would be like to be at the heart of events like the Madrid Bombing?

Here's my hesitation. I'm not a big believer in the competence of the U.S. government (I'm a vocal critic of the USDA's nutritional guidelines), but I'm not entirely convinced that we're AS incompetent as is alleged. That said, the author's account is plausible, and it's an exciting, gung-ho read.

The must reads of ALL must reads!

I was totally glued to this book and the only negative is that I wish it was longer. I didn't want it to end! I hated that so much was left in the air but I can see why it is this way...at least this is my personal theory....once I was done with the book I got online and looked up a bunch of the information and names I found in the book. My only guess is that is what the author wanted...for the reader to peel back more layers on their own. But onto other aspects of this amazing story...

I have read over the reviews on here and the ones that said that they had a hard time swallowing the information and were not sure that they believed that the United States government would be so calous and negligent gave me a good chuckle. If you REALLY comb through American history and foreign affairs then NONE of what was written in this book would be surprising or thought to be made up or exagerated. If any of it is surprising to you then you simply are not paying attention. As Americans we tend to ignore important things that are indeed scary. Instead we turn to pop culture and other nonesense that makes no difference in our lives in the first place. This is because these things are safe and we can effectively ignore the real world through them. Having said that, anyone who needs a good dose of reality should be put onto this book. And anyone who wants to see a bigger truth than to which we are exposed in American media should take a look as well. Hey, it should be required high school reading as far as I'm concerned! But the government would not like that...not one little bit.
