Mother and daughter sat under the tree, both so much like each other with their raven black hair and porcelain skin. Where the daughter had freckles, the mother had scars, all across her face and arms. But the daughter never noticed. Together they laughed and told stories, tales of a time when everyone was magic and the land was filled with wonder. The sun began to set, and the daughter looked up at the tree. She had flowers in her hair, flowers she had picked while listening to the mother’s stories. “Mama,” the daughter asked, “where does that door go?” The mother also looked at the tree, not letting the daughter see how confused she was, for she saw no door. “Why, it goes to the land of Faerie.” “The land in our stories?” The mother scooped her daughter up in her arms, tickling her. The daughter squealed with laughter, and when the mother put her down again, she answered. “Yes, the land in our stories.” The daughter went up to the tree, and tried to open the door that only she could see. She frowned, and looked at her mother. “Why won’t it open?” The mother thought for a moment. “Because it’s not time.” “Will it be time soon?” “I hope so, my little lamb. I very much hope so.” Soon after, the mother and daughter stopped going to the tree, and the world grew a little darker, a little dirtier. The tree continued to stand watch, but it was lonely and wished the mother and the daughter would come back and tell the stories of that magical land.
The years passed.
The daughter was ready.
It was time to open the door.

Looking for a little Halloween romance? A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away (also known as My Imagination), I wrote a paranormal romance called WITCHES ANONYMOUS.   I never expected to publish it, much less for it to take on a life of its own and become a series. What can I say? Once Lucifer had his hooks in me, I had dark chocolate, fabulous shoes, and wicked magic coming out my ears. How could I not continue to write Luc and Amy's story? I sold my soul to the devil and he's been very, very good to me.   Next month, I'm working on the sixth installment in the WA series, DEVIL'S DUE. What a tantalizing taste of what is sure to be another amazing series. I adore Misty Evan's books but I haven't jumped into the Witches yet. When Amy turns her back on her evil magic she never imagines how hard it will be or all that she has coming into her life. Would you believe she is supposed to help Adam, yes THE Adam resist temptation when he gets a second chance. This is the ex-girlfriend of Satan! She is having enough trouble not using spells to clean her house! Of course things are not a cut and dried as they seem anyway. And when will Luc, hot, irresistible Luc leave her alone. Even with the awesome Adam in the offing, Luc is one hard hunk to resist. There is a serious side as there are to any of ME's books but the humor will stand out for me on this one.

I was dying to read this one, as I love all things witch! It is a really good short read.
I am not a huge fan of the short novella series. That being said this was a great book and I can not wait till I have the time to read the rest of the series. A little bit of heat, a little bit of magic, a whole lot of hot and some saving the world. Pretty great!

I liked the story and the premise. Who would think of a Witches Anonymous group? It was funny and the devil was especially cute. It's a cute twist on a witch story. I like Misty Evans and her humor.

And the most important thing is that my life is perfect in every way.
To be alive and living in this world is like winning the lottery since your chances of being born at all, are one in a million. The one sperm cell that made each of us is one in a million sperm cells. So let’s all try to stay on this earth and enjoy life as long as possible.
As you get older (past 60) your hormones, immune system and digestion no longer work as good as it did when you were 30. You are not probably as optimistic and happy as when you were younger. Also you are probably not getting the nourishment from your food that you need. This is the main reason it is easier as you get over 60 years of age; to get cancer, diabetes, and heart trouble, the three biggest killers. Most people rarely had any of these problems before 60. I want to make your body think and feel that you are 30 years old as mine does.
My much younger sister, Teena did just the opposite and smoked and drank too much and died at 60. I was 7 years older and in perfect health except for my asthma that I was born with. It keeps your liver from dumping glucose and makes muscles take up the glucose.

Good start for researching Metformin

I feel like everyone should at least have the opportunity to search out a better solution for their health. Whether you agree with him or not the short read will make you think about options to discuss with your own doctor.

metformin is a great anti aging drug!

Every week or so it seems I see a new study suggesting metformin is a great anti agign drug!

it turns out it extends the max lifespan of mice by 30% and even diabetics who take it live longer than normal people without diabetes

And diabetes usually makes you die younger than normal

now they arfe saying it prevents cance of all kinds.....this is a really good primer on metformin to get you introduced
